ADA-ES, Inc. (Littleton, CO) has signed a non-binding term sheet for an exclusive license of its new M45 refined coal technology to Clean Coal Solutions, ADA-ES’s joint venture with affiliates of NexGen Resources Corp. (Aurora, CO) and Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. (New York, NY). With this license, Clean Coal is now able to provide customers with both the patent-pending M45 technology and ADA-ES’s patented CyClean technology to produce refined coal, which reduces emissions of nitrogen oxides and mercury. Clean Coal Solutions is expected to finance the fabrication and installation of up six M45 facilities and place them into service by the end of 2011.
