   Golder Associates (Atlanta, GA) announced that it has completed a merger with Singapore-based GeoEng Consultants, thereby creating what Golder is describing as the largest employee-owned geotechnical investigation and design company in Asia. GeoEng Consultants is a specialist civil and geotechnical consulting company with more than 25 years experience in the Asian region, providing technical support to many well-known geotechnical specialist contractors, according to Golder. “This partnership will boost Golder’s capabilities in Asia by expanding its geotechnical engineering capabilities in the planning and design of substructures and underground construction works, particularly in basement excavation, foundation, soil improvement, slope stabilization, underpinning, and tunneling projects,” said Brian Conlin, Golder’s president and CEO.
